David Bailey, a former crypto policy adviser in the Trump administration, said the U.S. government still has a lot of room to push Bitcoin adoption, and that simply "liking Bitcoin" is not enough. He said at the Bitcoin Investor Week Conference in New York that although Trump has signed an executive order to establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve in 2025, the U.S. government has yet to launch a new Bitcoin purchase program, and its main holdings still come from law enforcement confiscation of assets.
